   On September 14th 2021, I officially launched the "Shelf of Entrepreneurs" on Instagram. I created this page as an extension of that, to pay homage to and also provide more awareness to the great brands I network with. This shelf allows me to feature multiple brands in the backgrounds of pictures or videos when making content for my Instagram page. It allows the Brands to receive a greater degree of exposure for their business.
    There is NO MONETARY compensation for any of this exposure. I reached out to brands/businesses that I felt had a true passion to achieve more than the death web of the traditional 9 to 5. I feel that as a community member of other small businesses, this is the least I can do to help people from my community build their businesses.
   Even though this is a small part of what it really takes to build something great, Any small business owner will tell you, any gesture, no matter how small, is always appreciated and welcomed. I truly believe a group of united entrepreneurs can work to build their empires together. Instead of competing with one another, we can build one another, and all achieve financial freedom in the process.
  Every company has a "WHY". This page does what the 'shelf of Entrepreneurs" does not, it gives a glimpse into the purpose of each respective brand/ hustlers clothing. This is a way to see beyond the logo and get a deeper understanding of exactly who they are and what their vision is.

Our purpose is to up lift our fellow entrepreneurs, while serving as a daily reminder to hustle hard and keep pushing forward. Although there will be times when we feel completely alone and depressed, its important to remember that Nothing of value ever comes easy. The people that really want to achieve greatness will rise to the occasion, Look at the bigger purpose of their life, and make it happen. Our commitment is to do our part to help other entrepreneurs move closer to their goals of one day, making their Side Hustle, their main Hustle, and building their empire.

I have grown my side hustles into legitimate steams of income and I'm reaching a point they might exceed my main job.  I'm going to use Grab the Bag to show others how I did it, so they can do it as well. 

​I see opportunities to make money everywhere and they look like money bags to me.  I see so many, and I know I can't get them all so this is my way to point them out for others.  Like, "You see that bag just sitting right there"?  I know my hands are full so, "You gonna Grab the Bag or not?"

 Is an art and design company that focuses on expressing one's imagination in various forms. Whether it's designing on apparel, crafting, painting, or even physical activity, I believe the beauty of art is in all aspects of life. So if imagination fuels expression then Imagination + Expression must = Artsy. This became the formula that in turn compelled me to ask people the question, What's your artsy?  how do you express your imagination? That slogan and the belief that everyone has artsy is the foundation of my company.

  Sometimes Gorilla (SMTxGRLA) Clothing Company was founded in November 2019 while walking thru the halls at Wilmington University where I was attending school for Business. A friend mentioned how I moved like a Gorilla in my entrepreneurial pursuits and in life becoming focused and ready to attack whatever is front of me, especially for things I am passionate about. At that exact moment I created the Name SOMETIMES GORILLA.....Because I felt this embodied my outlook on life and everywhere I looked I would see examples of this mindset. I also felt like the inner city was structured like the Jungle wilderness where everyone has a survival of the fittest attitude. The SOMETIMES part is to reference how at times anyone can be something completely different and adapt to their environment and the GORILLA speaks to the Animal instinct.

The entire name started off as Sometimes Gorilla / Sometimes a Scholar = Always an Animal as a nod to me going adjusting to life on the streets to attending school, which was later shortened over time so that the name would be easier to remember and pronounce. At the end of the day Sometimes Gorilla (SMTxGRLA) is simply a lifestyle brand for anyone who has that animal instinct and passion inside of them who are ready to unleash their Greatness into the World....Welcome to the Animal Planet....YUP
